About Us:
The Dial Radio Club serves the greater Middletown, Ohio area.
We are a general interest club with an emphasis on training and
licensing. We meet on the third Monday of every month at
7:00 pm at the Golden Corral just off SR 122 on I-75. Please join us.

- Membership is family based. In the recent past we have
had
80+ members representing 50+ families. Dues are $26 per year for a
family.
- We support an extensive repeater system that has quite good
coverage.
- We have two analog repeaters. One is exclusively on 2 meters
while the other is linked between 2 meters and 70 cm.
- We have a Motorola DMR digital repeater with an internet link on 70
cm.
- We have a Yaesu Fusion repeater in digital/analog operation on 70
cm.
We have taught classes for more than 30 years to allow persons to
become amateurs or to upgrade their privilieges.
- Our two major social events are the Dayton Hamvention, (in May) and
the ARRL Field Day (the last weekend in June).
- Special Operating Events:
- We recently celebrated our 75th anniversary as a ARRL Affiliated
Club (May 9, 2016) which included a special event station - W8D.
- Since our contest call is K8PI, we took part in the International
Pi-Day celebration on March 14, 2015.
- Other Operating Events:
- We have participated in the Ohio QSO Party (in August) for the last
few years.
- We hope to resume participation in the CQ WPX SSB contest in the
spring and the ARRL SSB Sweepstakes in November.
- Members and guests are welcome to visit/participate at any of our
operating events.
